Congratulations to the OGC Power Tumblers on a successful week at the 2018 Canadian Championships for Trampoline & Tumbling in Lethbridge, Alberta.
Other Results:
Level 5 Women 15 & Under Annika Johannsen and Chlove Vurro competed as the only Ontario girls in this category. Both did well at their first Canadian Championships. Chloe made it to the finals placing 9th overall in a field of 14.
Level 6 Women: Elizabeth Karam competed despite suffering a sprained ankle the day before departing for the 2018 Canadian Championships. She managed to grab the last spot to compete in the finals and move up to the 9th place position out of 18. Hannah Scholes competed in the Level 6 category for the first time hoping to achieve the score that would put her on the Canadian Team going to the World Age Group Championships this fall in St Petersberg, Russia but Hannah was also hampered by ankle pain and fell short of the score. Hannah still made it to the final round in 9th place and slipped behind teammate Elizabeth to finish in 10th place. Both of these Level 6 girls competed despite the pain and put in fantastic performances.
